Ramon Florensa Collection (TagRF). Author manuscripts

Collection made up of 208 works, of which 66 are by Miquel Florensa and 18 by Ramon Florensa. These authors’ repertories consist mainly of ecclesiastic music and instrumentals for bands and orchestras. The archive contains keyboard music by authors from the 18th and 19th centuries (11 pieces by C. Baguer, 9 of which are pianoforte sonatas; 15 by the Mercedarian Antoni Xaudiera and 5 by Mateu Ferrer), as well as 16 compositions by Joan Pont (1813-1885) and 10 by Ignasi Maymó (1850-1881), including a particularly noteworthy Orchestral Symphony (1864). The ecclesiastic repertory contains pieces by J. Barba, J. Bros, B. Bruguera, R. Nicolau, J. Saurí, S. Vidal and C. Vila de Forns.
